The Historic Win

22 participants have participated in the North Bengal V/s Bhutan Karate kids club championship venue at Kalimpong, Darjeeling, India on 10th and 11th february 2012 and Bhutanese karate team won the karate championship with twelve gold medals where as North Bengal bags only 10 gold medals. The Bhutanese karate team is participating for the first time in the international and cross border competitions and the team is lead by Sensei Ugyen Wangchuk.

"All the participants have exceeded his expectations during the execution of the bouts" as per the Sensei Ugyen Wangchuk, the instructor cum general secretary for the club.

Members of Bhutan karate kids club is very confident that there is no doubt to achieve few colorful medals in the coming years from the upcoming most renowned championships to be held in the history

Bhutan karate kids club is also engrossing and spreading its wings around the country with the help of few confident teachers who all will be given very good recognition in the coming years.
